Great Stone Face

We went to Delta one weekend to see my Uncle George. He had Multiple System Atrophy and was increasing getting worse and worse. He wasn't expected to live much longer so we went to say our goodbyes. My dad gave him a blessing. I'm so glad that we were able to go see him one last time.

While we were in Delta for the weekend, we went to the Great Stone Face. I haven't been there in a really long time and Bryce had never been. So went all went and had lunch up there.

We of course had to climb on it.

Breanna found a cool little cove to climb up to.

And even my mom climbed up to it.

Bryce and I climbed all the way to the top of it. This is something I have always wanted to do but when I was little I wasn't allowed to climb up this high.

My dad watched us climb and contemplated ways to help us get down in case we couldn't by ourselves.

Breanna found a little hidden cave

Shortly after the Great Stone Face, we got the call saying that my Uncle George had passed away. He was really young and we were sad that he had gone. But he suffered for so long that I think he is much happier now.

Breanna's Junior Prom

We went down for Breanna's prom and it turned out amazing as usual. The theme was underwater paradise and of course my mom helped with the decorations. She did the entrance and here are a few of her decorations.

Here it is all lit up when the lights were out. She did a great job.

Gorgeous Breanna, right before she left on her date. I did her hair and it turned out so pretty!

She went with Steven Melville

I saw Kimberlee at prom. She has a sister Breanna's age.
She is about ready to pop with her second baby here! Such a cute prego belly!

Breanna wore boots under her dress and didn't do herself any favors in the height category.
But hey I'm sure they were more comfy.

These two are both terrible at smiling for pictures but after taking lots we finally ended up with a good one of the daddy daughter dance.

My Grandma Losee was able to make it to the festivities.

Valentines Day

I found these on the counter for me on Valentines Day!
I love them! I have the best husband in the world!

And this is what I got Bryce for Valentines Day.

Valentines Day we drove down to Vegas because I had to take the NCLEX (state nursing test) the next morning. We stayed at the Excalibur for a couple nights.

We went to dinner at an Italian restaurant in Excalibur.

The next day I took my test and it didn't go so hot. I was in there for six hours and ran out of time before finishing the test. Needless to say I was not successful in passing it this time. Poor Bryce just had to listen to me cry...ALOT. Then I tried to forget about it and enjoy the rest of our trip to Vegas.

We went to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and then walked down to the Bellagio to watch some of the water shows.

February Birthdays

There are lots of February birthdays in my family. Bryce's is on the 1st, Karalee's is on the 5th, my dad's is on the 10th, and Breanna's is on the 16th. So we got together to celebrates them all. We all went down to St. George and opened presents, went bowling and then came home for some cake and ice cream. My dad wasn't able to come because of the outage at the power plant. We missed him. We wish he could have celebrated with us.

Kimbry was so cute. She would throw her hands up every time she bowled and just wait for the ball to hit the pins. The girls loved it!

Bryce's 24th Birthday

For Bryce's birthday this year we went bowling with Max and Jenny, and his friends Brent and Tiffany, and Kade and Rakelle. It was lots of fun! Thanks for celebrating with us!

This is my sad attempt at making a basketball cake...

For his birthday, I got him a Tom Brady jersey. He loves the Patriots and has always wanted this jersey.
