My little brother Jason got his mission call to the Washington Everett Mission.
He left on June 20, 2012.
He left on June 20, 2012.
His farewell was on June 10th. He did an awesome job. Breanna was the youth speaker that week and she gave a great talk as well. All of us siblings sang the song "How Great thou Art"
The day before Jason left we all went up to Oak City Canyon and had lunch. I'm really glad we did since the very next week the canyon was all burnt in a fire.
Typical Kaylee face
Dad snoozing
Kimbry was in such a big hurry in drinking her pop that most of it ended up down her shirt.
Then of course we had to have a marshmallow war.
Kaylee was all over that marshmallow gun
Kimbry even joined in but most of her ammo ended up in her mouth.
Look at this face. Now you can see just how into this war Kaylee really was.
Andrew hiding in the trees and pelting people through the branches.
That night we all went to see Jason get set apart to be a missionary.
I was taking these pictures and notice my dad isn't smiling....
This is after I tell him to smile.... he is telling me to just take the picture. Oh I had taken a picture and it is possibly the best one.
Now we finally get a smile out of him.
Jason and my Grandma Losee
Jason and my Grandma Lovell
The next day we went up to drop him off at the MTC. We went to lunch at Chuck-A-Rama and then parked across the street from the MTC to say our goodbyes.
Getting ready for the drop off. We all piled in on one seat so that we could jump out quick for one last hug.
Last hugs and then it was official. He was on a mission. We will miss Jason but we are so proud of him for serving a mission.
