This year Karalee, Shantelle, and I put in together to hunt on Monroe Mountain but we didn't draw out. (Which is okay since I was 8 months pregnant!) But Jason, Breanna, and my dad drew out. My dad ended up having to work the outage so he wasn't able to go but Bryce took Jason and Breanna out and they both got one opening morning!
We all stayed at Bryce's mom's house the night before.
This was Breanna's first hunt and she spotted this guy right as the sun was coming up!
A few hours later Jason got one too! They both got little 3 point bucks. I'm glad they both got one because they really only had one day to hunt. Good job guys!
They were home by noon, took their deer to the butcher, had some lunch and then we all went out in the truck to see if we could find one for Kim.
8 months pregnant and hunting!
My Uncle Garth drew out for Oak City and my dad helped him hunt. Andrew told them about this buck and they went and found him.
Kim got herself a deer on the last day of the hunt right before sun down. They had to track him quite a ways and it was dark before they found him.
