Zions Canyon

My Mom and Breanna came down for a few days to play before school starts. We went up to "Moroni's writings" They are on Cedar Mountain. Of course it is not for certain but the story goes that a man followed these writings from Central America to Cedar City. The writings matched each other and he believed that these writings were Moroni's. 

Then we went up Kolob Canyon and hiked a small trail. It has an amazing view!

The next day we went to Zions Canyon and hiked Angels Landing. All of us have been wanting to do this hike for a long time but it seems that year after year goes by and we don't do it. Well we finally checked this one off the old bucket list!

The trail was very well kept, it was just steep

The canyon's were amazing!!

There were parts that were that were pretty steep with cliffs on the sides so they had chain railings to hold on to.

We were all feeling pretty good, so after Angel's Landing we hiked up to weeping rock.

You can't see it in the picture but this rock drips water constantly. It feels like it is raining.

  

Then we went up to the base of the Narrows and hiked up a little ways. The Narrows is another hike that has been on my bucket list. Someday I will hike this one as well.

We also drove through the tunnel before leaving Zions Canyon. This tunnel is over a mile long and is all through rock. It is pretty amazing!
