For the 4th of July we went to Delta. Bryce had to work the morning shift so I came up with Karalee and Andrew and he came up when he got off work.
We started the day off with the parade

(A few years back Garth and Taffy's kids stayed with my parents while they were on their cruise and they experienced Delta's 4th of July. Their kids liked it so much that now, whether Garth and Taffy like it or not, it has become their tradition.)

We were glad to have Zach and Addie to pick up candy in front of us. Megan decided the kids weren't picking the candy up fast enough so she helped them out,
The military usually does a fly by but the government wouldn't let them this year so we had five local planes flying by our parade. It was pretty awesome!

Kaylee loves to do the fish catch every year. She did so awesome to catch this one by herself.
Even Kimbry tried the fish catch but I don't think that she realized she was supposed to catch the fish with her hands. She wouldn't get in the pool with the fish, so Andrew caught one for her. She is a girl after my own heart that doesn't like to touch the fish but has no problem holding them in the bag.
Zach got in on this catching fish business and loved it!
That night we went to the derby. This was Bryce's first Delta Derby. Don't let this fake smile of his fool you, he was happy to be there.
Kaylee and Kimbry like to go to the Derby's too! Kimbry cheers for all the pink cars, so if you want her support your going to need to paint your car pink.
